The mission of the Young Professionals Diversity Council is to connect young professionals in the region and develop the proper network to make a difference and have a say in how the Bluegrass Region advances.

IN2LEX is an open-source consortium of entrepreneurs and professionals in the creative and technology sectors. Our mission is to promote Lexington as a career, education and lifestyle destination for creative and technical business professionals and to act as catalyst where our technical, entrepreneur, and creative communities coincide.

An example of an innovative IN2LEX initiative is the Startup Advantage Lecture Series. Led by veteran entrepreneurs and investors, the IN2LEX Startup Advantage Lecture Series is designed to stimulate your thinking and tilt the odds in your favor regarding tech-related business startups. Rotaract of Lexington

Rotaract is an international organization of young professionals and students ages 18 to 30 that are committed to service, leadership, and professional development in their communities and abroad.  Rotaract strives to encourage young professionals to address the physical and social needs of their communities and to promote better relations between all people worldwide through a framework of friendship and service.

With the support of the local Rotary Club, Lexington, KY has recently established a Rotaract branch.  We look forward to growing our membership and serving our community.

The goals of Rotaract are To develop professional and leadership skills, To emphasize respect for the rights of others, based on recognition of the worth of each individual, To recognize the dignity and value of all useful occupations as opportunities to serve, To recognize, practice, and promote ethical standards as leadership qualities and vocational       responsibilities, To develop knowledge and understanding of the needs, problems, and opportunities in the community and worldwide; and To motivate young people for eventual membership in Rotary.

Urban League Young Professionals

LULYP’s mission is to engage young professionals in the achievement of social and economic equality in the Central Kentucky area.

We support the goals and mission of the National Urban League by serving our communities and developing our members through mentoring, tutoring, scholarships, economic empowerment, political engagement, and leadership development programs.

The Lexington chapter implements programs in support of the National Urban League empowerment agenda, which includes: Education and Youth Empowerment, Economic Empowerment, Health and Quality of Life Empowerment, Civic Engagement, Empowerment, Civil Rights and Racial Justice Empowerment.

LULYP also works to strengthen members by encouraging them to achieve balance in their lives even as they work to strengthen their communities. To this end, LULYP strives to develop programs that encourage individual members’ personal and professional development

United Way of the Bluegrass Young Leader’s Society

Our Mission is to create a leadership organization for young professionals to engage in philanthropy, social responsibility, develop leadership and career wealth, and establish a social network of leaders in the community

Our Vision is to establish the Young Leaders Society as the premiere young leadership organization in the Bluegrass area for future leaders and motivators for the youth and other members of the community. To do this we will: Educate members through Board Trainings, Strengthen leadership skills through educational workshops, Coordinate business, civic, and community mentoring programs, Develop meaningful volunteer experiences, Organize networking opportunities, Educate and Engage members to affect public policy, Partner with other emerging leader organizations to influence state policy and decision making and Measure our success by our results.
